Having fun in Hawaii

The Arizona Memorial (picture taken from Ford Island)

The "Kittyhawk" - Aircraft carrier in Pearl Harbor

This is an ancient site of Royalty birthing area. The rocks are called the "Birthing Stones". I hope the women really didn't have to give birth on the stones. Maybe there was a hut nearby!

There are 3 terraces of rock walls, like a split level home.

We visited 2 historic out-of-the-way Hawaiian sites. The first was an ancient temple site above Waiamea Bay.

Camping on the beach with Marshallese Young Women and Leaders

There was no grass, only sand and dirt, so they used old carpet outside their tents to sit on.

Young Women out boogie boarding.

Here are some photos taken at the beach camp at Bellows Air Force Base. Also pictured are the tents with the Marshallese branch Young Women and leaders. It was an interesting experience. Elder and Sister Tolman stayed in a cabin on the beach. It was a good choice! (It rained early in the morning and wind was always blowing.)
